|How to post your item or scraps

Make a post with the item type or name in the title with either FS (For Sale), FT (For Trade/Barter), or FREE (obvious, but can request to be paid for shipping/handling if not for local pickup). In the post you can post any specific info or pictures about the unit and what you may be looking for money or trade wise. If there are alot of items, feel free to just write the transaction type and then "list below" and put the list of items in the post. |
If there is alot of text or pictures for your post please put it behind a lj-cut tag.
Links to sites you find or your own personal site with schematics or How TOs is also allowed. Just put the word LINK or SCHEM in the subject title. Spam or troll posts will be deleted.
A pretty straight forward system I think.
Also regarding after trade posts. Please post a public reply on the items post for transactions that went well. On the other hand, please keep personal attacks or problems in private communication BUT if someone is intentionally trying to screw or trick people, let me know directly via IM, Email, or a post on my journal and I can add them to a banlist for posting, and a public blacklist posted on the information for the community. This will be done only after I talk to the other party though, no false aligations and also realize that when it comes to bending and especially random surplus components we may have lying around their existence and lifeline is something you should never really rely upon. We're going to have to just make the assumption that people are going to be honest.
I'd also recommend paying via services like paypal for all transactions instead of things like western union because you will have a recourse to getting your money back if it comes down to it.
Any other questions, post them here and I'll edit this with the answers.
